The Curriculum
Reform is one of the important areas of the Education
Reform. To prepare our children for life-long learning
and all-round development, schools and teachers have the
indispensable role of developing school-based curriculum
along the principles enshrined in the curriculum guides
and other relevant documents. Since the announcement of
the way forward in curriculum development in 2001, schools
and teachers have put theories and ideas into practice.
Innovative and exemplary practices have blossomed. The
Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence has provided
an excellent opportunity for us to recognize exemplary
practices emerged. More importantly, it facilitates the
sharing of experiences and good practices, thereby supporting
the further implementation of the Curriculum Reform.
My congratulations
to all the awardees and recipients of Certificate of
Merits. I look forward to seeing their devotion and
professionalism being used to further benefit the Curriculum
Reform and Education Reform as a whole. |
