Who are the members of the Assessment Panels?

The High-level Advisory Panel and four Assessment Panels have been appointed. The membership of each Panel is as follows-

 

High-level Advisory Panel
 
Prof Cheng Kai-ming, SBS, JP(Chairman) Prof Cheng is the Chairman of Advisory Committee on Teacher Education and Qualifications.
   
Dr Wong Yick-ming, Rosanna, DBE, JP Dr Wong is the Chairlady of Education Commission.
   
Mrs Law Fan Chiu-fan, Fanny, GBS, JP Mrs Law is the Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower.
   
Prof Ye Lan Prof Ye is the Head of Institute of Basic Educational Reform and Development, East China Normal University.
   
Prof Dang Shu-leung Prof Dang is the Adjunct Professor of Department of Chinese Language and Literature, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
   
Prof Jill Sinclair Bell Prof Bell is the Head of Department of English, The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
   
Mr Tai Hay-lap, BBS, JP Mr Tai is the Chairman of Quality Education Fund Steering Committee.
   
Mr Pang Yiu-kai, JP Mr Pang is the Chairman of Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Sub-Committee.
   
Dr Pang King-chee Dr Pang is the Chairman of Assessment Working Group on Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence.
   
Dr Tse Shek-kam Dr Tse is the Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Facilities/Administration) of Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. He is also the Convenor of Assessment Panel on Chinese Language Education Key Learning Area.
   
Dr Chun Ka-wai, Cecilia Dr Chun is the Assistant Professor of Faculty of Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also the Convenor of Assessment Panel on English Language Education Key Learning Area.
   
Prof Chan Kim-sang, Lorna Prof Chan is the Dean of School of Early Childhood Education, The Hong Kong Institute of Education. She is also the Convenor of Assessment Panel on Language Development for Students in Kindergartens.
   
Mrs Chiu Ching Tak-lan Mrs Chiu is the Senior Lecturer of Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Learning Needs, The Hong Kong Institute of Education. She is also the Convenor of Assessment Panel on Language Education (Special Needs).
 
Assessment Panel on Chinese Language Education Key Learning Area
 
Dr Tse Shek-kam
(Convenor)
Dr Tse is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Facilities/Administration) of the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. He is also the Director of Support Centre for Teachers Using Chinese as the Medium of Instruction.
 
Dr Chan Shui-duen Dr Chan is the Director of the Chinese Language Teaching Centre, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is also a member of the Curriculum Development Council Committee of Chinese Language Education, and a member of the Putonghua and Chinese Language & Literature Subject Committee, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.
 
Ms Fung Oi-lin, Lina Ms Fung is a member of the Committee on Home-school Co-operation and the former Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association of the Ma Tau Chung Government Primary School (PM).
 
Dr Ho Wai-kit Dr Ho is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Director of the Centre for Putonghua Education and Research.
 
Mr Jim Yick-kwong As the Panel Chair of Chinese in Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Wong Fut Nam College, Mr Jim has actively participated in seminars and sharing sessions within and outside Hong Kong.
 
Ms Lau Siu-ling, M.H. Ms Lau is the Headmistress of Po Leung Kuk Mrs Chan Nam Chong Memorial Primary School. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Language and Research, and the Committee on Chinese Language Education of the Curriculum Development Council, and the Chairperson of the Primary Chinese Language Research Association.
 
Mr Leung Siu-tong Mr Leung is the Chairman of the Advisory Management Committee of the Hong Kong Teachers' Centre. He is also the Vice President of the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers.
 
Ms Mou Suet-fong Ms Mou is the Assistant Headmistress of Creative Primary School. She is a member of the Committee on Chinese Language Education, the Curriculum Development Council and the Primary Chinese Language Education Research Association.
 
Ms Tse Kit-fong Ms Tse is the Assistant Principal of China Holiness Church Living Spirit College. She is also a member of the Curriculum Development Council Committee of Chinese Language Education.

Mrs Tsui is the Principal of Lok Sin Tong Yu Kan Hing Secondary School, the Chairperson of the Curriculum Development Council Committee on Chinese Language Education and a member of the Standing Committee on Language and Research.
   
Dr Wong Pui-kwong Dr Wong is an Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics, the City University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Standing Committee of Language and Research.

Dr Chun Ka-wai, Cecilia
(Convenor)
Dr Chun is a Professor of the Faculty of Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include English language teaching and teacher development.
 
Dr Christine Davison Dr Davison is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the English Language Committee of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. Her research interests include language assessment and curriculum innovation and evaluation.
 
Mrs Duthie Chuang
Sha-li, Shirley
Mrs Duthie is the Headmistress of St. Stephen's Girls' Primary School. She is a member of the Committee on English Language Education of the Curriculum Development Council.
 
Dr Fiona Hyland Dr Hyland is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. She is a moderator of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. Her research interests include second language writing and language testing and assessment.
 
Dr Kwo Wai-yu, Ora Dr Kwo is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. She served on the Promotion and Monitoring Sub-committee under the Quality Education Fund Steering Committee. She is a member of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Sub-committee.
 
Ms Lee On-lee, Annie The Vice Principal of Diocesan Girls' School, Ms Lee is a member of the Curriculum Development Council Committee on Learning Resources and Support Services.
 
Dr Lo Mun-ling Dr Lo is a Principal Lecturer of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her research interests include teachers' professional development, mentoring of novice teachers, and school-university partnership.

Ms Lu is the Headmistress of SKH Tak Tin Lee Shiu Keung Primary School. She is a member of the Committee on English Language Education of the Curriculum Development Council.
   
Ms Ma Kit-ching, Veronica Ms Ma is the Principal of Marymount Secondary School. She served as a member of the Adjudication Sub-Panel on Support for Students and School Ethos of the Outstanding School Awards Scheme.
 
Dr Mak Chan Shuk-yin, Barley Dr Mak is a Senior Instructor of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Subject Curriculum and Teaching (English), and English Language Teaching methodology.

Mr Mo is a member of the Committee on Home-School Co-operation, and a Deputy Law Draftsman of the Department of Justice.

Prof Littlewood is a Professor of the Language Centre, the Hong Kong Baptist University. He is a member of the Curriculum Development Council Committee on English Language Education.

Prof Chan Kim-sang, Lorna                 (Convenor) Prof Chan is the Dean of the School of Early Childhood Education, the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
 
Mrs Chan Lau Yuk-lin Mrs Chan is the Vice Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association of St. Paul's Co-educational College. She is also an advisor of the Parent-Teacher Associations of the Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten, and St. Paul's Co-educational (Macdonnell Road) Primary School.
 
Ms Kwok Chor-kiu Ms Kwok is the Principal of C&MA Church Tai Wo Kindergarten and the Vice Chairperson of the Non-profit Making Kindergarten Council of Hong Kong.
 
Dr Kwong Lee

Dr Kwong is a Principal Lecturer of the School of Early Childhood Education, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her research interests include early childhood education and early childhood language learning.
 
Ms Lai Fung-ha Ms Lai is the Supervisor of Yan Chai Hospital Wing Lung Child Care Centre and a member of the Committee on Early Children Education of the Curriculum Development Council.
 
Ms Lee Lai-wan, Maria Ms Lee is the Head, Department of Child Education and Services, Hong Kong Institute of Vocation Education.
 
Dr Pang King-chee Dr Pang is the former Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Education. He is a member of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Sub-committee.
 
Ms Tsoi Wing-tin,

Ms Tsoi is a Lecturer of the Department of Applied Social Studies, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She served on the Committee on Early Childhood Education of the Curriculum Development Council, and the then Outstanding School Awards Adjudication Sub-panel.
 
Ms Tung Pik-fong Ms Tung is the Principal of Catholic Star of the Sea Kindergarten. She is the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Catholic Diocesan Schools Council (Kindergarten Section).
 
Ms Wong Siu-fung The Principal of Fanling Assemblies of God Kindergarten, Ms Wong served as the Chairperson of the Committee on Early Childhood Education of the Curriculum Development Council.

Mrs Chiu Ching

Mrs Chiu is a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Educational Psychology, Counselling and Learning Needs, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her research interests include teacher development in special education and curriculum development.
 
Dr Ho Fuk-chuen Dr Ho is a Lecturer of the Department of Education Psychology, Counselling and Learning Needs, the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
 
Mr Ip Siu-wo Mr Ip is the Principal of Mary Rose School. He is also a Teacher Assisting Speech Therapy (TAST).

Mrs Lee is the Chairperson of the Parents' Association of Pre-school Handicapped Children. She is a member of the Council of the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for the Mentally Handicapped.
 
Dr Lian Ming-gon, John Dr Lian is an associate professor of the Division of Learning, Development and Diversity, Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include physical and multiple disabilities, and inclusive education.
   
Mr Ng Hok-ling Mr Ng is a teacher of Lutheran School for the Deaf. He serves on the Curriculum Development Council Committee on Special Educational Needs. He has also served on committees relating to the use of information technology in education.
 
Dr Sin Kuen-fung,

Dr Sin is a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Educational Psychology, Counselling and Learning Needs, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. His research interests include special needs education and information technology in special education.
