To consider and endorse the assessment results recommended by the Assessment Panel on Arts Education Key Learning Area, Mathematics Education Key Learning Area, and Special Educational Needs in respect of the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence (2020/2021); andand

To give, where necessary, short commentaries on the awardees and their teaching practices for publication and dissemination purposes.

Steer the long-term development and to decide on the main features of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence;

Oversee the launch and implementation of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence;

Advise on the publicity strategy of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence;

Oversee the smooth operation of the various working groups / assessment panels established under the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Steering Committee; and

Review the effectiveness of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence.

Advise on the nomination procedures and associated requirements for the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (CEATE) (2020/2021) which focuses on Arts Education Key Learning Area, Mathematics Education Key Learning Area, and Special Educational Needs;

Advise on the assessment criteria and associated matters of CEATE (2020/2021);

Advise and oversee the assessment process and to consider the assessment results as presented by the assessment panels; and

Review the nomination, assessment and adjudication processes of CEATE (2020/2021) following the completion of such processes.

To conduct initial assessment on the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (CEATE) (2020/2021) nominations which fall under the Arts Education Key Learning Area (AE KLA) and to shortlist potential nominations for detailed assessment;

To conduct detailed assessment on the short-listed nominations and to recommend a list of awarded nominations for the Award for Teaching Excellence and the Certificate of Merit;

To examine the "Comprehensive Report on the Assessment of CEATE Nominations (AE KLA) " to be compiled by the Assessment Officer; and

To review the effectiveness of the assessment mechanism engaged by the Assessment Panel on AE KLA and to recommend, where appropriate, possible areas for improvement.

To conduct detailed assessment on the short-listed nominations and to recommend a list of awarded nominations for the Award for Teaching Excellence and the Certificate of Merit;

To examine the "Comprehensive Report on the Assessment of CEATE Nominations (ME KLA) " to be compiled by the Assessment Officer; and

To review the effectiveness of the assessment mechanism engaged by the Assessment Panel on ME KLA and to recommend, where appropriate, possible areas for improvement.

To conduct initial assessment on the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (CEATE) (2020/2021) nominations which fall under the Special Educational Needs (SEN) and to shortlist potential nominations for detailed assessment;

To conduct detailed assessment on the short-listed nominations and to recommend a list of awarded nominations for the Award for Teaching Excellence and the Certificate of Merit;

To examine the "Comprehensive Report on the Assessment of CEATE Nominations (SEN) " to be compiled by the Assessment Officer; and

To review the effectiveness of the assessment mechanism engaged by the Assessment Panel on SEN and to recommend, where appropriate, possible areas for improvement.
