The Award Presentation Ceremony of Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (2012/2013) has brought to a successful close on 12 July 2013. The assessment results have been announced. From among 143 nominations, 9 nominations (20 teachers) were recommended for the Award and 12 nominations (39 teachers) for the Certificate of Merit. The keynote speech of the Honourable C Y Leung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Executive and the welcoming speech of Mr Wong Chun-nam, Duffy, JP, Chairman of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Steering Committee have been posted on "Press Release / Speeches" section. Award Presentation Ceremony of CEATE (2012/2013)
 
To honour accomplished teachers who demonstrate teaching excellence in "Guidance and Discipline", "Science Education Key Learning Area" and "Technology Education Key Learning Area", the Award Presentation Ceremony of Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (2012/2013) will be held at 3:00 p.m., 12 July 2013 (Friday) at the CGO Conference Hall, 2/F, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong.

The Showcase of the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence 2012 will be held on 24 November 2012 (Saturday) in Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong.
 
The Showcase 2012 comprises 26 sharing sessions and a plenary forum. The 26 sharing sessions feature the teaching practices of the awarded teachers in the Arts Education Key Learning Area and the two key areas of Information Technology in Education and Pre-primary Education. The topic of the plenary forum is "E-learning in Action" and the speakers will share with the teacher participants on using e-learning to enhance learning and teaching. Interested parties may enroll via Education Bureau's Training Calendar (http://tcs.edb.gov.hk) (Course ID: CGPDT020120359) OR complete the registration form and return it to the CEATE Secretariat by fax (fax no.: 3150 8591) or by email (peta@edb.gov.hk) on or before 19 November 2012. Successful applicants will be informed individually by email.

The Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (2012/2013) accepts nominations from now until 5 October 2012. All nominations should reach the CEATE Secretariat, 11/F, Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong on or before 5 October 2012.
